The true journey

Our souls probably thought they would wing it when they decided to embark on their human journey. One wonders if they knew that they would face such an adventure - the nuances of life - both loud or subtle, when viewed from a higher perspective, are quite amusing. They say life is a journey filled with lessons that we have to learn as our soul purpose. That till we learn those lessons, we will be presented with similar situations in progressively harsher tones. Who knows if this is what it truely is? Or is it just existing, wandering, experiencing till we finally perish and go back to floating in the heavens ( we wish!).

I would like to believe though that we know internally what works for us and what does not. That there is an internal emotional guiding system that can lead us to find some meaning. That if you feel good about a particular action, it indicates it is inspired and can lead you to your soul's purpose. I have had glimpses of the Divine within in the recent days - where I am able to connect to my inner intuition and function from a place of love and forgiveness. It is an expansive state - one that enables you to truly see the world as one consciousness.

The more I live the more I believe that it is also within us. Really everything around us is a mirage and so insignificant once you start focussing on what is within us. When what is within is explored, it is such fun, so exhilerating that I start wondering why I was entangled with the external in the first place. Does it really matter what someone else does, thinks, believes? When everything within is nothingness. All of eveything is nothingness. You explore that nothingness and you see layers of yourself shed like a snake shedding skin to become that nothingness. Or Divine? Are they the same thing?

Another aspect of spiritual growth is the isolation that accompanies it. There will be elements you may not relate to, in other people - things that seem so radical and unforgiving that you see red. Knowing that everyone is on their own journey, wishing them well and letting go can help in further expanion of our internal state. Chances are they are not vibrating at your frequency anyway and will likely not feature in your life once you let it go.

In another example, I have often found it frustrating when people I have known, during childhood or even adulthood refuse to grow. They tend to be spiritually inclined however when it comes to practising life or to approach from a place of peace or love or true freedom - they get entangled in the matters of the world and regain a superficial plane. With time I have understood to approach them with compassion and let go to find their own journey.

Internal growth is so empowering and uplifting if you make space for it. Where people, past, present, things, experiences are fleeting, floating by you as you make your way through life. You realize that is the true journey - that is the true freedom one hopes to attain in this lifetime. You are unbound, experiencing life through higher perspective, inclusive of everyone as one divine consciousness.

Well, in simpler news, we are on a human journey. Might as well enjoy this journey while we are at it. Learn what is to be learned, let go of what is not serving us and find ways to expand our consciousness. If that comes with a Chanel bag or a world trip I think we can manage to accomodate that too :) May we live these human experiences with compassion, joy and peace. Peace out.
